Mexican wedding rings
Some Mexican will present a pre-engagement ring. They like to have long engagements, which is why they have this promise ring tradition. The pre-engagement ring or “promise ring” sometimes is given to the bride a year before she receives an engagement ring. The ring symbolizes the couples dedication and compassion for each other. That means that they couple will respect each other with love which is similar to that of a husband and wife for up to a year before the real engagement.
